Wonderz Market was founded by Elijah Ryan and Milton Rosario in February 2023.

A community focused art, vintage, and second hand market with a variety of local vendors with monthly activations throughout downtown Bellingham, WA.

Uplift marginalized voices, support queer artists because your support directly impacts the community around you. Our vendors are made up of your neighbors, classmates, friends, coworkers, family members, teachers, and we share this space together. 

Shopping small, and supporting local artists and vendors keeps your money in the economy! Forgo the middle man of corporate entities, your money goes directly into the pockets of your neighbors to create and foster a beautiful community. Anything from housewares, to clothes, to skin care, you can find it at Wonderz.

Cash is king! All vendors do accept digital forms of payment such as Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, and many have card readers for Apple Pay or credit/debit payments.

We offer a few different vending space options and sizes. For our Commercial Street Market fees are as follows:

10x10 Canopy Space on Commercial Street “Main Drag”: $112 (including tax)

10x10 Shared Canopy Space on Commercial Street “Main Drag”: $112 divided evenly amongst shared vendors. Typically 2 vendors share a canopy space comfortably. There is a maximum of 4 vendors per canopy.

8x8 Body Modification Space in Wink Wink’s Side Piece Studios: $112 (including tax)

For our Block Parties on Railroad Avenue, vendor fees are the same, however we do not have a FREE vending option for this location. Body Modification vendors will be hosted in The Blue Room for these events.

The vendor fee goes directly towards the cost of the market between Insurance for the event, street closure signage, event permitting, marketing, venue use, DJ’s, photographers, taxes and efforts of the Wonderz Market host and employees.

Artists with any medium from fiber art, stained glass, water colors, chainmail, ceramics, jewelry vendors, silver smiths, the list does not end! Vendors who are received best in this community have handmade items or second hand collections of housewares, vintage and up-cycled clothes, and those with a variety of price ranges.

We can’t host food vendors, but drink vendors are welcome to apply. Selling lemonade, mock tails, or coffee? We’d love to have you!

We do NOT accept vendors with AI slop or those who predominantly have “drop shipped” items to resell. Our market is based on handmade and quality products.

10x10 canopies are required for outdoor vendors as well as 20 lbs of weights that can be attached to EACH leg of the canopy. Because this event is outdoors, protection from the elements will be beneficial for attendees as well as vendors and their products.

Tattoo artists and tooth gem artists must have proper licensing for their trade displayed for attendees.

We can accommodate 65 10x10 canopy spaces on Commercial Street between Holly Street and Magnolia Street. These spaces have the most visibility and are most traveled by Wonderz Market attendees. 

There are a limited number of 10 10x10 canopy spaces in the Commercial Street Plaza, just off the beaten-path of the market. They’re between the Commercial Street parking garage and Envy salon. About 100 feet away from the main drag on the sidewalk, these spots are a bit less traveled by attendees. However, foot traffic still flows through this area, and the restrooms for attendees and vendors are located through the plaza. This is a great option for vendors just starting out who may feel intimidated by the crowds on Commercial Street. There is also signage directing traffic towards the plaza for attendees.

Wink Wink’s Side Piece studios at 1302 Commercial Street is directly alongside the market street with “Body Modification” vendors hosted within the space. We have 6 8x8 spaces for tattoo artists, body piercers, tooth gem artists, permanent jewelry, and haircuts. Attendees will sign-up for a flash service from the artist in the space and wait until it’s their turn for whatever service they’ve signed up for. You must be 18 years or older to participate in the tattoo or piercing services.
